Project H.E.A.L which stands for Help, Educate, and Love is an initiative borne by Aseye Adonu, a member of Scribes. The aim is to extend love to all; by helping the less privileged with the gifts and resources God has blessed us with.
In our maiden Project H.E.A.L outreach, we partnered with SCEF International (Street Children Empowerment Foundation) to teach street children, as well as other less privileged children, in James Town, Accra. It has since then been our objective to embark on this project annually, seeking new avenues to show God’s love to the less privileged.
1Jn 3:18 “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.“
BRAVE was a project H.E.A.L initiative which sought to empower young ones whose voices are not heard, especially for students who are deaf and dumb. As led by Edem Myler, the Vice President of Scribes, we chose to work with the State School for the Deaf, in Ashiaman, where we donated educational materials and food to the school. A student was then selected and trained to minister at SOS’19.
